2002: Over There

These works are about travelling, where the tourist's face looking out of windows is the one constant. It’s about the public spaces Fran Marno and her partner moved through or looked out on juxtaposed with the privacy of the hotel room.
Encounters between the familiar (hotel furnishings ) and the foreign, the inside and the outside, the private and the public all make snapshot appearances.
